Celebrating a Life, a Legacy and Our College Community
Chris Cappell College is delighted to celebrate its annual Chris Cappell Day and College Day on 26 November 2026. This is one of the most significant occasions in the life of our institution, bringing our College community together to remember the young and gifted Christian Cappelluti, known artistically as Chris Cappell, in whose memory our College is named.
Born in Rome, Italy, on 17 August 1975, Christian demonstrated remarkable creativity and determination from childhood. Music became one of the great passions of his life, and from an early age he developed his talents as a musician, songwriter and composer. Christian’s life was characterised not only by academic excellence but also by creativity, curiosity and an extraordinary dedication to developing his talents. He studied music and sound engineering, composed his own works and collaborated with established musicians. As he prepared to enter the American music industry professionally, he adopted the artistic name Chris Cappell.
The name Chris Cappell College therefore carries a special meaning. It keeps alive the memory of a young person who dreamed greatly, worked tirelessly and sought excellence in everything he undertook. His story reminds our students that education is not merely the acquisition of knowledge, but also the discovery and development of one’s talents and the courage to pursue meaningful goals.
Our Chris Cappell Day on 26 November is also celebrated as the College Day, making it an occasion to recognise the talents, accomplishments and contributions of our students and staff. Through cultural programmes, celebrations and moments of fellowship, we come together to appreciate the growth of our institution and the people who make Chris Cappell College a vibrant learning community.
As we celebrate Chris Cappell Day 2026, we gratefully remember the life and legacy that inspired our name and renew our commitment to helping young people learn, grow, discover their potential and confidently pursue opportunities across the world.
